Advanced Semiconductor, Inc. (ASI) designs and supplies RF power transistors and microwave diodes to the customers in dozens of countries, specifically focusing on pulsed RF commercial applications for avionics, radar, medical and industrial applications, replacing transistors from Motorola, Philips, and SGS Thomson, and others, and microwave diodes from HP, M/A-COM, Alpha, and others.

For new designs, ASI Semiconductor offers the highly rugged VIMOS technology in the form of both RF power transistors and pallets/modules. VIMOS is a High Power RF transistor technology designed specifically for pulsed amplifiers. VIMOS devices provide excellent RF performance. In addition, they are extremely rugged, capable of simultaneously withstanding overdrive, overvoltage and 20:1 VSWR.
