NXP Semiconductors
NXP Semiconductors is a Dutch semiconductor designer and manufacturer with headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
NXP Semiconductors was previously named Philips Semiconductors. It was a division of Philips from 1987 to 2006, when it was spun off as an independent company. NXP Semiconductors retained the Philips name for a short period of time after the spin-off, but in 2006 it was rebranded as NXP.
The name NXP stands for “Next eXPerience”.
NXP is a leading provider of semiconductors for a wide range of applications, including automotive, industrial, IoT, mobile, and communication infrastructure.
